Unwanted hair can be embarrassing and a hassle to remove. Laser hair removal can significantly reduce or eliminate unwanted hair. Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) into the hair follicles to remove unwanted hair. The hair’s melanin (the part that gives hair its color) absorbs the light and the heat damages the follicle preventing it from producing more hair.
It usually takes 8-10 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart in between treatments. You cannot be in the sun two weeks before your treatment and two weeks after your treatment. You also cannot have any self tanner on the areas to be treated.
